Principal Dentist / Owner
Dr Jordan Walsh is the Principal Dentist and Owner of Beyond Dental, with particular interests in dental implants, surgical dentistry, sedation and comprehensive restorative care. His approach is centred on putting patients first, taking the time to understand their goals and providing clear, personalised treatment options. This is particularly important for patients who feel anxious about dental treatment or require more complex care.
After completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction at the University of Otago in 2012, Jordan gained extensive experience working across several large dental practices in Australia, particularly in dental surgery and wisdom teeth removal. Since returning to New Zealand, he has continued advanced training in dental implants, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and dental sedation. Jordan has enjoyed bringing access to these services to Beyond Dental in Papamoa, allowing patients to receive a broader range of general and advanced dental care within the practice.
Jordan regularly undertakes advanced training to broaden the range of dental care he can provide to patients at Beyond Dental.

Jordan’s clinical interests include dental implants and full-mouth rehabilitation, IV sedation for anxious patients, wisdom teeth removal, comprehensive smile restoration and cosmetic dentistry, alongside general dental care.
His combination of surgical, restorative and sedation training allows him to care for patients with a wide range of dental needs, while maintaining the personalised and supportive approach that underpins his philosophy of care.
Outside of dentistry, Jordan enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughters. As a family, they love travelling, hiking and watching movies together.
