Smile in confidence, chew in comfortDental Implants

I want to know more about Dental Implants, please!

Dental implants are very safe. They are the most popular and effective solution to replace your missing tooth or teeth.

A small titanium post is placed into the jaw to act as an artificial root, before a natural-looking crown is fixed on top, to replace your missing teeth. Your functional and aesthetic problems solved, eat and smile again with no gaps, dental implants are the gold standard of care.

There are 3 types of dental implant solutions available to solve the common problems people have.

Better quality of life!

People with All-on-4 implants experience better chewing, more taste, less discomfort and embarrassment than patients with full dentures.

All-on-4 Implants are a full set of teeth fixed in place similar to natural teeth whereas full dentures are removable and go in and out of your mouth, often requiring daily gluing to hold them stable.

All-on-4 implants has a higher upfront cost compared to a full denture; however it is generally a longer lasting, healthier solution with a significant improvement compared to a failing set of natural teeth or a full denture.

With the correct care and maintenance, dental implants can last you a lifetime.

The longevity of your dental implants will depend on several factors including: your general health status (i.e., smoking, diabetes etc.), your oral health (i.e., grinding, gum disease etc.), and your oral hygiene. Regular check-ups and cleaning are essential to ensure your best results.

The cost of dental implants varies based on how many teeth you need replacing and if your specific procedure requires supplementary techniques (bone grafting, gum grafting, interim prothesis). It is important to note that while your dental implants have a higher upfront cost than alternative options, they are likely to be much more cost effective over time.

You can find Our Fees here. At Beyond Dental, implant placement surgery and definitive tooth restoration start from $4000 each, we can help you from start to finish inhouse. You will be provided with an accurate financial quote after customised treatment planning is completed, and you have selected your preferred dental implant option.

From start to finish your dental implants usually take several months. The first step is the placement of the titanium implant into the jaw, which usually takes one or two hours.

For best results, this is followed by a variable healing period depending on your specific procedure (ranging from 3 to 6 months). You are often provided with an interim solution for the gaps.

After confirmation of the dental implant integrating into the jaw, your final step to attach your definitive teeth is completed over 2 short appointments.

Your dental implant procedures at Beyond Dental are completed comfortably with local anesthetics and under IV sedation when indicated or requested.

Most of our patients report only mild discomfort, if anything, after the initial procedure. When we follow up with you after one day, often you are feeling back to normal. You can manage any discomfort easily with over-the-counter pain medications like Panadol.

Most people who are missing one or more teeth are excellent candidates for dental implants, as long as your gums are healthy and oral health is stable.

Some medical conditions (uncontrolled diabetes, certain cancers and bone-medications) can move you into a higher risk category for dental implants.

A comprehensive clinical and 3D x-ray assessment of your dental health and individual dental implant needs will be provided by your dentist at your consultation.
